Holding a degree in Audiovisual and Multimedia from ESCS, Tânia Araújo currently coordinates art integration projects through photography for MEF (Movimento de Expressão Fotográfica). Her work includes community-based arts integration projects such as EEQH and Ver com Outros Olhos, funded by the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation under the PARTIS programme, as well as Histórias de um Povo Cigano, EEQH, and O Que Pode uma Imagem Falar, all funded by DGArtes (Direção-Geral das Artes).
In 2012, she was selected as a "Jovem Criadora" (Young Creator) to represent the Portuguese delegation at the 1st International Silk Road Congress in Azerbaijan.
Her background includes extensive experience in artist residencies. In 2011, she participated in a residency at the Scoala de Poetica Fotografica 'Francisc Mraz' in Bucharest and was invited by the Clube Português de Artes e Ideias to join the residency project EVA - Exclusão de Valor Acrescentado in Bairro da Bela Vista, Setúbal—an initiative funded by the Programa Escolhas and the Secretariat of State for Culture / DGArtes. Previously, in 2010, she completed a residency at Hotel25 in Berlin.
Her work has been recognized in several national competitions: she was selected in the photography category for the Jovens Criadores competition in both 2009 and 2010, awarded an Honourable Mention at the XI Bienal de Fotografia de Vila Franca de Xira (2010), and named a finalist at the Encontros da Imagem festival in Braga (2009).

ART AND MENTAL HEALTH
Within the framework of the Memória do Eu project, the cultural space Procurarte hosted the talk "Conversa sobre Arte e Saúde Mental".
The panel explored the profound intersections between artistic practice and psychological well-being, featuring key figures from both the cultural and therapeutic fields. The discussion involved writer and journalist Catarina Gomes, author of the book Coisas de Loucos, actresses Natália Ferreira and Olga Varanda from GTT (Grupo de Teatro Terapêutico of the Hospital Júlio de Matos), and Catarina Gomes representing the MANICÓMIO project. The event was free of charge and took place at Procurarte's premises in Lisbon, located at Rua Neves Ferreira 8B, Penha de França.
