In recent years, Procur.arte has led international large-scale projects in two areas of work linked to contemporary photography and public space activation:

Territory -
With the Flâneur projects as the main element of intervention in a given territory.

Emerging contemporary creation -
With the PARALLEL platform asthe main methodological tool.

In our creative process, immage is a key element, as are issues related to climate sustainability, gender equality, LGBTQIA+ social integration and cultural diversity

ABOUT //
CURATORIAL FRAMEWORK
Procur.arte operates as an international curatorial platform and research archive structured around two interconnected axes: the mobility of contemporary vision and the critical mapping of geographic identity.

The first axis forms an ecosystem dedicated to scouting, developing, and incubating emerging visual artists. Through collaborative European frameworks like Parallel Platform and dedicated presentation environments like Creative Platform Space, we facilitate the international circulation of new talent, bridging the next generation of creators with leading institutions and global audiences.

Parallelly, the platform drives an ongoing visual research that intersects territory, creative thinking, and identity. This operational branch activates site-specific practices, public space interventions, and editorial archives—including Entre Margens / O Douro em Imagens, Orienta LX, and the extensive urban explorations of Flâneur: New Urban Narratives and Flâneur ao Centro—transforming the landscape into an open canvas for critical dialogue and community engagement
