EXHIBITION // ARTISTIC RESIDENCE
QUIMERA II -
REDESENHAR O LUGAR
PARA TRANSFORMAR O MUNDO
Quimera II is an international exhibition and artist residency project based in Portugal, featuring ten visual artists from five countries: Portugal, Greece, Croatia, the Netherlands, and England.
Guided by the core motto, “Redesigning the place to transform the world,” the invited artists are challenged to engage directly with local culture, geography, and history through a continuous dialogue with the community.
Hosted by Procur.arte, the project unfolds in two distinct phases. The first features a collective exhibition showcasing works across a diverse range of visual mediums, including painting, sculpture, video, installation, and drawing. The second phase shifts to Palhais/Barreiro, focusing on an intensive artist residency and an open-studio creative process that allows the public to engage directly with the production of the works.
