Entre Margens foi um projeto de intervenção artística nos centros históricos das cidades da região do Douro. Durante três verões consecutivos (2011-13), foram apresentadas dezenas de exposições fotográficas no espaço público, complementadas com espetáculos de artes performativas (cinema, música, teatro, dança e multidisciplinares), juntamente com colóquios relacionados.
O projeto pretende promover novas formas de interpretar a produção criativa contemporânea, ao mesmo tempo que revitaliza espaços públicos ao abrigo da Agenda XXI: desenvolvimento local sustentável, cooperação cultural e preservação ambiental.
Entre Margens incentiva e desafia artistas e fotógrafos emergentes a olhar de forma renovada para a região, redescobrindo um universo centrado no rio, no vinho e nas suas gentes, mas não definido apenas por estes elementos.
Entre Margens foi curado e coordenado pela Associação Cultural Procur.arte e promovido pela Fundação Museu do Douro. Reúne o apoio de oito municípios da região do Douro — Amarante, Lamego, Mirandela, Peso da Régua, Porto, Santa Marta de Penaguião, Vila Nova de Gaia e Vila Real — e é parcialmente financiado pelo fundo regional QREN ON.2 - Grandes Eventos Culturais.
Entre Margens foi apresentado na Fête de l'Europe em Bordéus, em maio de 2012, e em Lisboa, em março/abril de 2013.

5 conferências internacionais Entre Margens (Between river banks) was a project of artistic intervention in the historical centres of Duoro region cities. For three consecutive summers (2011-13), dozen of photography exhibitions were shown in the public space, complemented with performing arts show (cinema, music, theatre, dance and multi-disciplinary), together with related colloquiums.
The project aims to promote new ways of interpreting contemporary creative output, whilst reviving public spaces under the XXI Agenda: local sustainable development, cultural co-operation and environmental preservation.
Entre Margens encourages and challeges up-and-coming artists and photographers to take a fresh look at the region, rediscover a universe centred in the river, the wine and its people, but not only defined by these elements.
Entre Margens was curated and coordinated by the Cultural Association Procur.arte and promoted by the Museu do Douro Foundation. It gathers the support of eight municipalities of the Douro region - Amarante, Lamego, Mirandela, Pesi da Régua, Oporto, Santa Marta de Penaguião, Vila Nova de Gaia and Vila Real - and it is partially financed by the regional fund QREN ON.2 - Large Cultural Events.
Entre Margens was presented at Fête de l'Europe in Bordeaux in May 2012, and in Lisbon in March/April 2013.
